ABOUT

David Fabricius is a registered biokineticist. He attained his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in sport science and sports coaching, and his postgraduate Bachelor of Science Honours degree in biokinetics, both from the University of Zululand in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal.

He holds two Master's degrees: a Master of Sport Science from Stellenbosch University, and a Master's in Sports & Exercise Medicine from the University of South Wales in the United Kingdom. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.) registered with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and a Graduate Sports Rehabilitator accredited by the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT).

David completed his biokinetics internship at the Sport Science Institute of South Africa in 2007, which brought him to Cape Town, where he has practised as an independent biokineticist since 2012. Over more than eighteen years in clinical exercise practice, he has built broad experience across orthopaedic and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, clinical exercise prescription for chronic and lifestyle diseases, graded exercise testing, and strength and conditioning. International work in the United Kingdom has further extended his practice into complex trauma and amputee rehabilitation, professional sport return-to-play, and postgraduate clinical education.
