ABOUT
Dr Kannenberg qualified as a medical doctor (MBChB) in 1999 at Stellenbosch University. After spending two and a half years working as a medical officer in general medicine in the United Kingdom, she returned to work at Karl Bremer and Tygerberg Academic Hospital as a medical officer in general medicine and paediatrics. She specialised in dermatology under the training of Prof H Francois Jordaan and Dr Willie Visser and received her Master's degree in Medicine in the field of dermatology (MMed Derm) cum laude from Stellenbosch University in 2012.
Memberships of Professional Bodies
She is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa and is a member of the Dermatology Society of South Africa. She attends regular journal meetings, congresses and training conferences appropriate to the field of dermatology (EBmedicalspa). She is also a member of the executive committee of the African Women's Dermatologic Society.
