The 'Breathing Room' is a private Specialised Kinesiology practice situated at the Aya Centre in Bergvliet, Cape Town.
Appointments by prior arrangement only. 

Kinesiology offers a highly effective method to reduce stress, restore balance and increase well-being.

It encourages optimal and harmonious function of body and mind and can comfortably co-exist with conventional medical treatment.
The process is gentle and non-invasive and offers a holistic approach to well-being and health by encouraging the body's self healing ability.

A Specialised Kinesiologist works with and through the body's energy field, affecting the immune, digestive, endocrine and meridian systems as well as muscles, bones, glands, chakras and organs. The aim is to balance the physical, mental, emotional or energetic systems of a person.
'Muscle monitoring' provides the practitioner with a biofeedbacksystem used to identify the nature of distress as well as the optimal balancing method.

A fundamental premise of Kinesiology is that the body has innate healing ability and is doing it's best to care for itself, but sometimes needs assistance to achieve this state.

I  work with people after trauma or accidents, suffering from a variety of injuries or degrees of pain. I enjoy assisting people to move past behavioural patterns or emotional wounds which no longer serve them. Women's 'issues' also lie close to my heart, ranging from personal development to gently assisting survivors of abuse.

I speak fluent German, English, Dutch and Italian.

I am registered with ASKSA, the Association of Specialised Kinesiologists South Africa. 
I also practice as a Systemic Constellations Facilitator, registered with SCASA, the Systems Constellation Association of South Africa.
