ABOUT
Dr Ed H-Jervis is a General Ophthalmologist with a special interest in Retinal surgery ( Retinal detachment, AMD, Diabetic retinopathy, refractive and glaucoma surgeries)
He practices in South Africa. He is proud to also be a partner and active surgeon at The Ear and Eye Clinic in Meyersdal, Alberton.
He graduated at The University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg with a MBBCH in 1998.
He then went on to complete his FC Ophth (SA), Ophthalmology Residency Program at St John Eye Hospital from 2003-2008. Ed also holds a AAO membership & attended the European VitreoRetinal Training School in Bremen in 2008.
He had Femto-LASIK done in 2010 on himself and have performed many MK-LASIK (Microkeratome) procedures, as well as Femto-LASIK (Femtosecond laser) procedures .He has also performed many cataract surgeries and Vitrectomies.
He attended congresses world-wide, he enjoys learning new things and teaching others.
