ABOUT
Dr Charl van den Berg completed his undergraduate studies in medicine (MBChB) at the University of Pretoria in 1995. He qualified as an orthopaedic surgeon in 2004 and holds both the MMed (Orth) degree from the University of Pretoria and the FCOrth(SA) qualification from the College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of South Africa. He is fully registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
He started a Private Practice in Claremont/Kingsbury Hospital in Cape Town in 2004 and moved to the Vergelegen Mediclinic Hospital in Somerset West in 2007. His practice and the Vergelegen Mediclinic are equipped with state of the art surgical and diagnostic equipment and are on a par with international standards.
