ABOUT
Hanneke Heyns qualified as a paediatrician in 2002, winning the Novartis prize for best paediatric student in her final exams at the University of the Free State. She started her private practice at the end of 2003.
Hanneke loves working with children and building a relationship with each of her patients and their families. She sees children from birth to 16 years for anything relating to their general health, growth, development, behaviour and illness.
Dr Heyns is passionate about educating parents and involving them in all aspects of their children's health. As a result, her examination area is set up to involve the parents in the exam, thereby creating a safe and playful experience for the child.
