Dr John Strachan

Dr John Strachan is a specialist general surgeon based at Hillcrest Private Hospital in Hillcrest KwaZulu Natal. Dr Strachan completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Cape Town. He completed his internship at Edendale Hospital and then spent 2 years in rural Mphumalanga where he was involved managing a hospital and 6 rural clinics. He then went on to the University of the Orange Free State to complete an MMed (Chir) and surgical fellowship (FCS) under Professor Kerneels Nel.
