ABOUT
Dr. Bruce Kavin is a General Surgeon practicing at Christiaan Barnard Memorial Hospital in Central Cape Town.
His main interests are Colorectal and Gastrointestinal Surgery and interventional endoscopy. Most surgical procedures are laparoscopic(keyhole surgery) and he is highly proficient with this advanced technique.
He has been in Private Surgical Practice for 9 years, initially at both Cape Town Mediclinic and Christiaan Barnard Hospital. He now operates solely from Netcare Christiaan Barnard Hospital. This hospital is due to relocate to the Foreshore in October 2016 to new state of the art highly equipped hospital with Robotic Surgery capabilities. The Da Vinci is one of only two such robots in the Western Cape.
